India’s Independence Day Celebration, with booths, fashion show by Aaina, dance competition, and health fair. Patanjali: Legends of Yoga and Dance, a thematic dance concert. Tribute to Daniel Pearl. Conceived and choreographed by Malathi Iyengar. Developed in collaboration with her dancers, music composer Rajkumar Bharathi and lighting designed by Eileen Cooley. Also features Unwritten Rhythms, a musical feature performed by musicians from India and the U.S. Presented by the Rangoli Dance Company. 7:30 p.m. concert, 8 p.m. dance perfomance.
